As February rolls around, we might think of love and Valentine’s Day. It is also National Heart Month, the time to make a special commitment to a heart healthy lifestyle. In addition to heart friendly nutrition like the Mediterranean diet and regular physical activity, the heart is nourished by romance, by joy, and by dreams. Open your heart to others, to your own intuition.  Find the balance between outward striving and inner peace. Follow the inner chords that only you can hear. Your heart will not lead you astray and perhaps this month you will discover new dimensions within and outside of you that you never imagined.
